About us

Our factory is situated in Zywiec Valley, surrounded by the mountains Silesia and Zywiec Beskid in town with over 700 years history.
We are the biggest Polish producer of medical equipment. We have been present on the market for over 80 years. This experience, supported by the most modern technology and possessing own research-development laboratory together with cooperation with a science-research institutions, allow us to manufacture and offer medical equipment of highest quality, which fulfills severe safety requirements.
We manufacture products according to Quality Management System ISO-9001 and ISO-13485.
Taking care of environment, we have implemented Environment Management System ISO-14001 expanded over the system EMAS, which is obliged in European Community.

The highest quality of products, manufactured by FAMED ZYWIEC, is based on advanced manufacturing processes, supported by most modern computer technology. Laser technology, CNC machine tools, dry abrasive blasting, integral polyurethane expansion, vacuum thermal moulding and other the most modern technical achievements, allow us to produce reliable and durable products.

Our products meet requirements of the European Medical Directive MDD/93/42/EEC, are CE approved and embrace a wide range of medical devices, which allows to equip complexly operating theaters, hospital wards, dental cabinets, gynecological cabinets, other specialist cabinets and nursing houses.

FAMED ZYWIEC has many stable foreign distributors from over 100 countries. Many clinics, hospitals and cabinets from Europe, Asia, South America, Africa are equipped with our medical devices.

PRODUCTION IN THE RANGE OF ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION.
Plant of Equipment for Environment Protection TURMED, which operates within our organization, deals with designing and manufacturing pumping mixers, vertical mixers, submersible mixers and mixers for waste water treatment plant.
